Conall Callen
Born in Washington DC in 1971, Conall Callen spent his childhood along the shores of the Puget Sound in Seattle, Washington. A big fan of Mr. Rodgers and frozen blueberries, Conall left the west coast and his family behind to study fine art at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg. He found a passion for abstract painting — allowing the medium to guide his forms between geometric and organic and his colors to span from cosmic to earth tones. Conall welcomes individual interpretation of his creations, “Whatever the viewer sees is what is meant to be.”
Conall relocated from Portland, Oregon to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2010. During the day, Conall manages people as a community banking district manager with Wells Fargo. During the night, when not engaging in philosophical conversations with his son, Liam (18), and his daughter, Lauren (14), Conall creates. This year, after a pandemic, much introspection, and some help from his wife, Robin, he has chosen to share his art with the public. |
